Cafe Creme is our little spot in Kothrud. We focus mostly on drinks, specifically the chocolate ones and coffee. It isn't a very large place, so on weekends it can get pretty crowded with younger people. We spend a lot of time running the blenders and cleaning out the milk jugs. Kothrud is a fast-paced area, but inside the cafe, things feel a bit slower, even when we’re busy. We don't have fancy upholstered chairs, just simple ones that are easy to wipe down. The fridge makes a constant humming sound that you eventually stop noticing after a few hours. We handle all the chores ourselves, from sweeping the front step to taking out the trash at night. It’s not a glamorous job, standing behind a counter all day. We try to keep the chocolate sauce stocked up because that’s what everyone asks for. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is frustrating. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. People just walk in because they see the sign while they're out in Kothrud. It’s a basic business model. We make the drinks, people pay, and we keep the place running for another day. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things consistent so people know what to expect when they come back next time. There isn't much more to tell about it.
