Cafe Coffee Day

This shop is right in the Nucleus Mall over in Camp, at Shop Number 62. It's usually quite a mix of people coming through since the mall gets busy on weekends. We spend most of our shift making coffees and cleaning up tables after customers leave their cups behind. The mall air conditioning is a relief when it’s hot outside, but it gets pretty loud with the music from the corridors. We have a few regular tables where people like to sit for hours with their laptops or just chatting. We don’t really mind as long as it's not too packed. Sometimes the machine acts up and we have to wait for the technician, which is a bit of a headache when people are waiting. It’s a standard setup with the usual chairs and counters you see in these places. Most of the staff live nearby, so we walk or take the bus to get here. Being in a mall means we stay open till the security tells us to close up at night. It’s not a huge place, just a decent corner to sit down for a bit while you’re out shopping. We see a lot of students from the nearby colleges too. They usually share a single thing and hang out. It’s just how it is here. We try to keep things moving so no one has to wait too long for their order. Sometimes the mall lights flicker but they fix it quickly.
