Cafe Coffee Day

We opened up this Cafe Coffee Day branch right here in Bhawani Motiram Nagar because there wasn't much of a spot for folks to sit down and have a hot drink nearby. It gets pretty busy in the afternoons when the students come by, but the mornings are usually quieter. We keep things pretty simple here. We’ve got the usual coffee machines going and some snacks in the display case if you're hungry. Most days it’s just us trying to keep the tables clean and making sure the beans are fresh. People sometimes sit for hours with their laptops and we don't really mind as long as there's a chair for someone else. It isn't anything fancy, just a place to hang out. The address is easy to find once you're in the neighborhood. We try to remember the regulars' orders, though sometimes we get it wrong when it’s packed. That’s just how it goes in a small shop. Sometimes the air conditioner acts up, but we get it fixed as fast as we can. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors because of all the foot traffic. It’s nice to see the same faces every day. I’ve lived around here for a while, so seeing the area change while we’re still here making coffee is something. We just keep the doors open and the lights on until late. It's just a coffee shop on the corner, nothing more.
