Cafe Coffee Day

Being located on the first floor of Krishan Chamber in Kothrud makes for an interesting day. We are actually inside the Castrol Bike Zone at Plot No 84, so there is always the sound of engines and tools from downstairs. It is not your typical quiet corner. People come in while their bikes are getting serviced, looking a bit tired or just wanting to kill time. The survey number is 98 if you are looking at the old maps. We have tables that sometimes wobble, and we just put a piece of paper under the leg to fix it. The air conditioning works okay, but when the sun hits the windows in the afternoon, it gets a bit warm near the glass. We spend a lot of time wiping down the counters and checking the coffee beans. It is a busy spot, especially on weekends when everyone decides to get their oil changed at once. There isn't much in the way of fancy views, just the street and the shop downstairs. We don't have a big speech about what we do. We just make the coffee and hand it over. Sometimes the Wi-Fi acts up, and we have to restart the router behind the counter. It’s just a practical place for people passing through Kothrud. We keep the napkins stocked and the floor clean enough. It's a job like any other, really. We just try to get the orders right.
