Cafe Apollo

Cafe Apollo is inside the Apollo Theatre Compound over in Rasta Peth. The official address is Survey No 549 on Shaniwarwada Road. Being in an old theatre compound gives the place a bit of a different feel compared to a regular street-side shop. Pune is changing fast, but this area around 411011 still has its old character. We’ve been serving people here for years. It’s a simple setup with a counter and some tables where you can sit and relax. We get a lot of people who are waiting for something or just taking a break from the heat outside. The walls have a few posters and the floor is that old-style tile. It’s not the most modern place you’ll ever see, but it is reliable. We focus on the basics. Tea, snacks, and some heavier meals if you are really hungry. There’s no big fancy marketing behind what we do. We just open up in the morning and stay until the theater crowd thins out at night. Sometimes the order takes a little longer if we are short-staffed, but we try to get it right. It’s a place where the regulars know our names and we know theirs.
