Cafe 24

Cafe 24 is part of the Ajinkya 24 Carat Restaurant & Bar over here on Karve Road in Erandwane. We are located at Survey No 9 B, which is a pretty well-known spot in the Sahakar Nagar area. It’s a bit of a mix here because you have the restaurant side and then the cafe part. We get all sorts of people coming in. Some come for a proper sit-down meal with their families, while others just want a coffee or a quick snack while they wait for someone. The atmosphere is generally relaxed, but it can get quite loud on Friday and Saturday nights when the bar gets busy. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, so the walls have a few scuffs and the furniture looks used, but it's comfortable. We don't try to be one of those ultra-modern cafes with white walls and no soul. It’s a bit more traditional than that. The kitchen staff handles everything from breakfast items to heavy dinners. We see a lot of students from the nearby colleges and also office workers who need a break from their desks. We just try to keep the service moving and make sure the orders are right. It’s a big space to manage, but we have a decent team that has been together for a few years. It feels like a local hub for this part of Erandwane and the surrounding streets.
