Burhani Industries

Burhani Industries is located at W/103 in the Bhosari Industrial Estate, right near Jawala Industries. Bhosari is a busy place, and the air is always full of the sound of machines and the smell of cutting oil. We started this shop with just a couple of old machines and a lot of hope. Now, it’s a bit more than that, but it still feels like the same small shed. The floor is always oily and there are metal scraps everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. We usually take our tea breaks at the little stall just down the road. It’s hard work, but it pays the bills and keeps us occupied. The shed gets really hot during the summer months because of the metal roof. We don’t have a fancy office or any of those modern things. We just have some stools and a few desks piled high with old ledgers and papers. People from the nearby industries come in looking for specific parts or help with a machine. We do what we can. Most days, we are just focused on the lathe or the welding torch. We’ve been at W/103 for years now and the address is well known to the local truck drivers. We know our neighbors well and we help each other out with tools or advice. It’s a simple, rhythmic life in the industrial estate. We just show up and do the work, and that is enough for us.
