We’ve been running this wine shop at 13 Gultekdi for a good bit now. It’s a busy little spot, especially being so close to Pune Station. You get all sorts of people coming through here. Travelers, locals, people just finishing work. The shelves are packed with bottles, and it can get a bit cramped when it’s the weekend. We don't have a big fancy display. It’s just rows of what people like to drink. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with everyone trying to get served at once, but we manage. The area around here is always moving. We open up in the morning and stay until late. It’s a lot of standing around and moving crates. My back usually hurts by the end of the day. We don't do deliveries or anything like that. People just stop by on their way home. It’s an honest living. We know the regulars by name and what they usually pick up. The street noise near the station is something you never really stop hearing. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. Just a basic place to pick up a bottle and go. Nothing more to it than that. We just try to keep the stock full and the floor swept. It is a simple business at the end of the day.
