We’ve been at Survey No. W-257 in the 'S' Block for a long time now. It’s right near Indrayani Nagar in the M.I.D.C. patch. Most mornings start with the sound of the shutters going up and the smell of grease. Being an engineer here means your hands are usually dirty by nine in the morning. The shop floor is busy, sometimes a bit messy, but that's how we work. We handle a lot of metal work and mechanical stuff. It’s not a fancy office. We have old desks and calendars that are probably out of date. The guys grab tea from the stall just down the road when things get stressful. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and wait for it to come back, talking about the work or the traffic. It’s a loud place. The machines make a lot of noise, so you have to shout to be heard. We’ve seen the area around Indrayani Nagar change a lot over the years. New buildings coming up while we just keep doing what we do in the 'S' Block. It’s honest work. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the tools, and the projects people bring in. If someone needs something fixed or built, they just walk in. We don't mind the dust. It’s just part of being in an industrial area like this one. We keep our tools ready and just take the jobs as they come.
