Bombaywala Stores

The shop, Bombaywala Stores, is over in Budhwar Peth. We are sitting right near Sonya Maruti Chowk, which is a spot most people around here know pretty well. It’s usually quite crowded outside during the middle of the day. Our address is 869 Kanhaiya Lal Saraf. Honestly, it is just a normal place where we spend most of our time from morning until late evening. Sometimes the traffic in the lane makes it hard for people to park their scooters, but that is just how it is in this part of town. I have been coming here every day for years now. We know the neighbors and the tea stall nearby. It isn't anything fancy, just a room filled with things we sell and some old wooden shelves that have been there since the start. We keep the floor swept and try to make sure everything is in its place before the first person walks in. The light isn't the best in the back of the store, but we got used to it. People mostly stop by because they are already in the market for something else and see our sign. It is a simple life running a business in such a busy area. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just know we are here by the chowk. We open up early, get the shutters up, and wait for the day to start properly. It's just home to us.
