Bishops School Undri

Out here on the Mahammadwadi Road near the Ganesh Mandir in Undri, things have changed a lot over the years. Bishops School Undri is part of this growing neighborhood, and it feels a bit like we are constantly catching up with the dust from all the construction nearby. The school grounds are quite large, which means a lot of walking for the teachers and the kids. We have several buildings and a good amount of open space, which is a blessing but also a lot of work to maintain. The sun gets quite hot out here, so we appreciate the shade when we can find it. Morning assembly is usually when you see how many kids we actually have—it’s quite a crowd. We spend our days mostly trying to keep things on schedule. The bells ring, the kids move, and we try to keep the classrooms from getting too chaotic. It’s a regular routine of teaching, lunch breaks, and then the rush of buses at the end of the day. Our staff is a mix of people from all over the area. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we’re just making sure the kids learn their subjects and stay safe while they’re on the property. It’s a big operation with a lot of moving parts, and we just take it one day at a time, making sure the grounds are kept clean and the gates are locked at night.
