We operate out of Sumangal Heights in Anandnagar, specifically at 1/2/12 in the A/27 section. It is right on Sinhagad Road, so it is easy to find but can be a bit noisy with all the cars going by. Our work is all about the science of packaging for medicines. Inside, it looks like a mix of an office and a small laboratory. We have samples of different materials scattered around and a lot of technical drawings on the screens. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important. We spend our days testing how things hold up and making sure the designs are practical for the pharma companies. The building itself is a typical Pune structure with a lot of different businesses sharing the space. We have got a small team of researchers and planners who have been together for several years now. We do not bother with corporate slogans or big presentations. Most of our time is spent looking at small details that most people would not notice. If the air conditioning is working and the samples arrive on time, it is a good day for us. We eat our lunch at our desks more often than we should. It is a quiet, focused kind of place where we just get on with the research. Being in Sumangal Heights works well for us because it is a central spot for the team.
