V-Tech Engineers

V-Tech Engineers is tucked away in J Block, specifically Plot No 223, in the MIDC area of Bhosari, Pune. It’s a typical engineering shop setup. We have the usual noise of grinders and lathes coming from the shop floor. The office part is just a small partitioned area where we keep the records and take calls. In Bhosari, the weather can change fast, and when it rains, the sound on the metal roof makes it hard to hear anything else. We have a small group of workers who know their way around a machine better than anyone. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from being in the neighborhood for a long time. The floor is usually marked with yellow lines that have faded over the years. We make parts and fix things for other companies nearby. It’s a lot of oil on the hands and dust on the shoes. We don't have a big HR department or anyone to tell us how to talk to people. We just speak plainly. If a part isn't right, we do it over until it is. There’s a tea stall at the corner of the block where we all go around four in the afternoon. It’s a simple life, focused on precision and making sure the machines keep running. We’ve been at Plot 223 for a while now and don't plan on moving.
