Pooja Engineering Works

Pooja Engineering Works is located at Gulve Vasti in the Bhosari area of Pune. We are situated right opposite the S Block at Sr. No. 24. It is a typical industrial setup for this part of the city. We have a couple of lathes and some basic welding gear that we use every day. The floor is almost always covered in metal shavings and we have to sweep them into a pile twice a day. Our office is just a tiny room with one window that looks out onto the busy street. It is always noisy here because of the heavy trucks and all the other engineering shops nearby. We get our morning tea from the small stall at the corner of the lane. The guys working here wear blue overalls that have definitely seen better days. We don't use any fancy software for our jobs, just old-fashioned measurements and a lot of manual work. Sometimes a particular job takes a lot longer than we thought it would, so we end up staying late under the bright tube lights. The roof leaks a little bit when it rains heavily, so we have to move the machines and the stock around to keep them dry. We have been at this same address for a long time now and everyone knows us by name. It is just straightforward work and we like it that way.
