Onkar Engineering

Onkar Engineering is located in J-Block of the MIDC area in Bhosari, Pune. Our specific spot is J-521, and a good way to find us is to look for the Goyal Weigh Bridge nearby. This whole area is nothing but factories and workshops, so the air usually smells like burnt oil and metal shavings. We are surrounded by other engineering units, and there is always a truck or a forklift moving somewhere on our street. Inside our unit, we have the usual setup of lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment. The floor is stained with oil, and there are metal shavings everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. It is a tough place to work in the summer when the Pune heat gets trapped under the industrial roof. We spend our days working on various parts and pieces for other companies. We don't have a sales team or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who know us in the Bhosari area or through the weigh bridge nearby. We have a small cabin in the corner where the phone sits, but most of the time we are out on the floor. It is a straightforward operation. We get the raw material in, we process it on the machines, and we send it out. Tea breaks are the highlight of the day, usually taken at the small stall at the corner of the J-Block. We just keep our heads down and get the work done every single day.
