Omkar Engineering

Our workshop, Omkar Engineering, is located at Sector No. 7, Plot No. 260 in the Pcntda area of Bhosari, Pune. If you know Pune, you know Bhosari is where a lot of the real making happens. We are right in the thick of it. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside we have got everything we need to handle the engineering jobs that come our way. We do a lot of fabrication and machining. It is loud, it is dusty, and it is where we spend most of our waking hours. Our team is small, mostly just a few guys who have been working with metal since they were young. We do not use a lot of big words or complicated explanations. If someone brings us a drawing or a broken part, we look at it and tell them if we can fix it or make it. Most of the time, we can. The Pcntda sector is always busy, and there is a lot of competition around, so we just focus on doing our work right the first time. We have had some long nights here when a big order needs to go out, but that is just part of the deal. We like being in Bhosari; it feels like the right place for a shop like ours. There is always a tea stall nearby when we need a break from the noise of the machines.
