The workshop here at Plot No. 106 in Sector No. 10 has been the base for Nes India Pune for a good while. Being in the PCNTDA area of Bhosari means we are surrounded by other industrial units and the constant sound of machinery. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but that is just how things are around here. We spend most of our daylight hours on the floor, dealing with whatever engineering tasks come our way. The team consists of a few local guys who know their way around tools and metal. It’s not the cleanest environment, but you can’t expect that in an engineering shop. There are parts and components scattered across the benches most days. We try to keep some order, but when a big project comes in, things get a bit messy. The office is just a small corner where we handle the billing and the phone calls. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the busiest part of our morning. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. Most of our clients come from the nearby sectors anyway. They know where to find us if a machine breaks down or they need something specific made. It’s practical work for practical people, and we have been at it for a long time now in this same spot.
