Modern Hydraulics

Modern Hydraulics is situated over in Bhosari, Pune, specifically in the Ghavane Vasti part of town. Our workshop is in Building No. C-7/9, inside the Ramnagar Society. We share the Shivsagar building with a few other businesses, so there is always something going on nearby. Bhosari is a heavy industrial area, so it’s pretty loud with all the machinery and trucks moving around all day long. We have been working with hydraulic systems here for quite some time. The shop floor usually has some oil on it and the smell of grease is just part of the job. It’s not a polished showroom where everything is shiny; it’s a real working space where we get our hands dirty fixing things. We have a few benches set up and our tools are always within reach. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just wait it out or find something else to do until it comes back on. Most of our neighbors in Ramnagar Society are doing similar industrial work, so we help each other out with parts or advice when someone gets stuck. It is a practical way to run a business. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just a small group of us who know how these machines work and how to keep them running for the people who need them.
