Jyoti Engineering

We’ve been here in Bhosari MIDC for a while now. Shop No. A11 is where we do most of our work, right near the Mangal Murti Complex. It’s a busy area and we’re usually tied up with some project or another. Most of the time, the machines are running and there’s a lot of metal being handled. People around here know us for just getting the job done. We don't really have a big office or anything fancy, just the workshop. My guys and I spend most of our mornings setting things up and then we work straight through the afternoon. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with all the engineering work going on, but that’s just how it is in an industrial area like this. We handle various parts and components that local businesses need. It’s steady work. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. We’d rather be on the floor fixing something or making a new part. If you walk past the complex, you’ll probably hear the drills. We started small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage things ourselves. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners nearby. It’s a tight community in this part of Pune. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines going as long as there is work to do. Sometimes we have tea breaks outside the shop when it’s not too hot. It is quite dusty, but that's engineering. We just keep at it day after day.
