Gurukurpa Engineering Works

Gurukurpa Engineering Works is based in MIDC Bhosari at Gate No. 452/1-2. If you know Bhosari, you know it’s packed with workshops and small factories. We are one of those places that’s been around for a bit. We do engineering work, mostly fixing parts or making small batches of components. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where we spend most of our lives. We have a couple of lathes and some other machines that have seen better days but still run smooth. The guys who work here are local. We take our lunch breaks together under the shade outside when it’s too hot in the shed. We don’t have a sales team. Usually, people just drop off a drawing or a broken part and we see what we can do. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area, and we just sit and talk until it comes back. It’s part of the life here. We’ve lived in Pune for a long time, so we know how things work in MIDC. It’s a busy life, always trying to meet a deadline for a local factory. We don't promise anything we can't do. We just work. It's dusty and noisy, but it pays the bills and keeps us out of trouble. It's just a normal workshop.
