Astm Engineering Works

Astm Engineering Works is located at Plot No. J-514 in the MIDC area of Bhosari. We have been working out of this shed for a good while now. It’s a typical engineering spot with the smell of oil and metal everywhere. We don't have a fancy reception or anyone to greet you with a smile; we’re usually busy with the machines. Most days are spent on the shop floor dealing with whatever jobs have come in. It might be some lathe work or maybe some welding that needs doing. The noise in Bhosari MIDC is something you get used to after a week. We have a small crew and we just focus on the tasks at hand. Nothing here is polished or for show. We have our tools and our benches and that’s about it. Sometimes a customer comes by with a rough sketch on a piece of paper, and we try to make sense of it to get the part right. It’s dusty and hot in the summer, but the work has to get done. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything like that. If people like what we do, they tell their friends. That is how we have stayed open all this time. We just keep our heads down and work on the metal until it’s what the customer asked for. It’s a simple way to run a shop without any big fuss.
