If you find yourself in Subhash Nagar, you'll see us at 7/42. New Kirkee is a part of Pune that has its own rhythm. Bharat Forge has a spot here that isn't hard to find if you know where to look. It’s a bit of an older building. The paint might be peeling a little in the corners but it holds up well enough for what we need. We don't spend much time worrying about how the front looks to strangers. Most people who come by already know what we're about. It’s a busy street, especially during the commute hours. Sometimes the local dogs sit out front of the Bharat Forge entrance. We don't mind. It's just how the day goes in this part of town. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and the sound of people talking over the fans. We’ve been here long enough that the postman doesn't even have to look at the number anymore. He just drops the letters off. It’s a practical space. No big glass walls or fancy rugs. We have a small window that looks out onto the street. You see kids going to school and people heading to the market. It makes us feel like we’re actually part of Subhash Nagar. Bharat Forge isn't just a name on a piece of paper to us; it's this building and the people inside it every day. It gets a bit dusty with the traffic, but we just wipe the tables.
