Beta Engineers

Shivaji Nagar is where we set up our shop at 59 9 966 A. It is a place where we do a lot of the heavy mechanical work. We are not the type of people to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned rooms all day. Mostly, it is just work clothes and heavy boots because the floor gets greasy. We deal with machine parts and technical drawings from morning until evening. The building is on the older side, but it does what we need it to do. We have some lathes and tools that have been running for many years and they still work better than the brand-new ones you buy today. It is always a bit noisy here with the fans and the sound of metal clanging together. We do not have a big reception area or a fancy lobby. If someone needs to see us, they usually just walk straight into the workspace and find us. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so it can get quite warm inside. We usually keep the big doors wide open to try and catch a breeze. Most of the guys working here live in the nearby streets, so we know each other's families well. It is a very straightforward kind of life. We take the orders, we do the engineering work, and we make sure things are built properly so nobody has a reason to complain. We just keep our heads down and finish the tasks.
