Best Western The Pride Hotel

We’ve been running the place here in Mahabaleshwar for quite some time now. You’ll find us right at the Sherwood Resort area, tucked away in Blue Valley. It's a bit of a drive off Satara Road, but that keeps it quiet mostly. Our staff is local and they know the roads well. It’s a hotel, plain and simple. We have rooms for people who want to see the hills or just get away from the heat in the plains. The morning mist can get pretty thick around here, so we spend a lot of time keeping things dry and clean. It’s a lot of work to maintain a building in this weather, especially with the rain we get. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. Just a front desk, some hallways, and rooms that stay cool because of the trees outside. Sometimes the monkeys get a bit bold on the balconies, so we tell guests to keep the windows shut. We serve breakfast and dinner, usually simple stuff that people like. It’s not a five-star place with marble everywhere, but it’s ours and we keep it going. Most people find us because they want to stay near the valley view points. We’re just here doing our job, making sure the beds are made and the water is hot when someone needs a shower after a long day of walking the trails.
