Berry Bash

Berry Bash is right on Fergusson College Road, which is always packed with people walking around. Being on the I T P L Main Road means there is a lot of energy around us. We get a lot of young people who are out shopping or coming from classes. Our shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space. I spend a lot of time behind the counter, blending things and making sure the fruit stays fresh. The fridge makes a loud humming sound that you eventually stop noticing. We don't really have a quiet time until very late at night. Sometimes the line goes out the door, especially when the weather is hot and everyone wants something cold. I try to keep things moving as fast as I can, but sometimes the blender needs a break too. We use a lot of berries and cream, so my hands usually smell like fruit by the end of my shift. It’s a fun place to be because the music from the shops nearby is always playing. We have a few regulars who come in every single day for the same thing. I don’t really need to ask them anymore. It’s a bit chaotic when it’s busy, but that’s just how F C Road is. We just focus on serving what people ask for and keeping the place clean enough for the next crowd.
