Our office is over on 2nd Main Road in Indrayani Nagar, right off B G Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of industrial activity going on around us. We are Bectochem Consultant Engineers and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the neighbors. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it’s where all the technical work happens. We have a lot of charts and technical drawings pinned to the walls. Most of the guys here are engineers who have spent years looking at machines and pipes. It can get pretty serious when we’re looking at a new project. We don't really do the whole fancy reception thing with a person waiting to greet you. You just walk in and someone will probably be hunched over a desk. There’s usually a stack of blueprints somewhere getting in the way or a half-eaten lunch. Working in engineering means a lot of checking and re-checking numbers. It’s what we do every day from morning until the sun goes down. The traffic on B G Road can be a real headache, but we’re used to it by now. We handle a lot of consulting work for different plants and setups. It’s practical work. No fluff or corporate talk here. Just trying to make sure things get built the way they are supposed to be. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a good stretch of time now and it suits us.
