Auto Get Up

Auto Get Up is over in Pimpri, specifically at Shop Number 6 in the Trishul Apartments. We are right on Telco Road in the Yeshwant Nagar area. It is a very busy part of town because of all the industrial work going on nearby. The shop is on the ground floor of the apartment building. We have parts and tools scattered around because we are always in the middle of some job. The A.M. Road is just around the corner, so there is a lot of vehicle movement. It gets quite greasy in here, but that is expected with the kind of work we do. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the records and a telephone that rings a lot. The noise from the Telco Road can be quite loud, especially with the heavy trucks passing by. We often have cars parked out front while we check them over. It is a small space, so we have to be careful about where we put things so we don't trip. Most of our neighbors are also in some kind of mechanical or industrial trade. We spend our days under hoods or looking at tires. It’s hard work and our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine well. It’s a practical place for people who need things done for their vehicles. We try to finish everything before the sun goes down and we can head home.
