Our little shop is tucked away in Nandan Pride, right there in the Kothrud Dahisar area. It’s Shop Number 1, so we are pretty easy to find once you get into the building complex. We’ve been here since the building was relatively new. It’s a decent space, enough for a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about train schedules or car rentals. The afternoon sun hits the front windows pretty hard, so we usually keep the blinds down for a bit. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves instead of traveling all the way into the main city every day. Living and working in Kothrud makes life a bit easier. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or people living in the apartments nearby. We know most of them by name now. It’s a quiet enough spot, though the parking lot gets a bit chaotic on weekends. We don’t have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just like helping folks figure out their weekend plans or how to get to the airport without too much trouble. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone is coming by after work. It’s just how we run things here. Not much else to say really, we just keep the shop open and see who walks in through the door looking for a trip.
