Atharva Engineering

Atharva Engineering is tucked away near the Ganga Jamuna Bakery in Taluka Mulshi. If you’ve ever smelled the bread from the bakery, you know exactly where we are located. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, except when we have the heavy equipment running. We do a lot of fabrication and general engineering work here in the shop. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a basic structure that keeps the rain off the machines. We’ve been here for a good bit now and most of the locals know us by name. It’s a bit of a drive out here if you’re coming from the city, but it suits us fine. There is usually a layer of iron filings on everything by the end of the day. We don't have a receptionist or anyone to answer the phones, so usually one of us has to wipe our hands on a rag before picking up. It’s just how it goes in a small shop like this. We handle whatever comes through the door, whether it’s a small repair or a bigger part that needs making. Sometimes the weather in Mulshi makes things a bit slow, especially in the rainy season, but we manage to stay busy. We aren't looking to become a giant company; we just like doing the work we know how to do and heading home at the end of the day. It’s a plain way of working but it has kept us going all these years.
