Aswathy Engineering Works

Aswathy Engineering Works is tucked away in Santosh Nagar, over in Katraj near Kadam Niwas. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t from around here, but most of the locals know where we are. We’ve been running the shop for some time now, focusing on basic engineering tasks and repairs. Usually, it's just a couple of us working through the day. The shop stays open pretty late most nights because there’s always something that needs finishing. We deal with various metal works and machinery parts that people bring in. It's dusty work and can get pretty hot in the summer months, but we're used to it. The space isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we stack the raw materials. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the work we do. Most people find out about us from their friends or neighbors who had something fixed here before. Katraj is a good area to be in, even with the traffic. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever walks through the door. Sometimes it's a small welding job, other times it's something more complicated that takes a few days. We don't make a big deal out of it, we just get to work. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy, just some good machines and a sturdy floor. We take the work as it comes and try to be honest about how long things take.
