We’re based in Sidharth Towers, which is part of the Jagat Satguru Industrial Estate in Kothrud. Specifically, we are in unit 301. Being in an industrial estate means there is always something going on nearby—trucks loading, people moving equipment, and the general hum of work. Assciated Engneering Consultants isn't a place for show. Our office is full of blueprints, technical manuals, and some very old rulers that we still use because they work just fine. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and debating over small details that most people wouldn't notice. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking, followed by a lot of typing. The chairs are comfortable enough, but after eight hours, you still want to stand up and stretch. We get our tea from a guy who comes around with a kettle twice a day. That’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We aren't interested in being the biggest or the flashiest firm out there. We just like solving the problems that come across our desks. Sometimes the math doesn't add up the first time, so we start over. It’s honest work. We know the other folks in Sidharth Towers, and we all sort of look out for each other. It’s a solid place to be. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the wall, just a calendar and some project photos. It works for us and keeps us moving forward every day.
