Ashwini Engineering Works

Our workshop is at S No 7-1 in Shantinagar, which is in the Landewadi area of Bhosari. This is the heart of the manufacturing district, so there is always the sound of metal being cut or machines humming in the background. We are a small engineering works, and we’ve been in this shed for a long time. The floor is concrete and usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the day. We have a couple of lathe machines and some welding gear that have seen a lot of use over the years. It’s a family-run kind of place, so there isn't much formality here. We wear our old clothes and don't mind getting our hands dirty. The Shantinagar area is full of shops like ours, and we all know each other. Sometimes we borrow a tool from the neighbor, or they come to us when their power goes out. It’s a tough environment with the heat and the hard work, but we just make sure the dimensions are right on every piece we make. There’s a small wooden cabin in the corner that serves as our office, though it’s mostly just for keeping the blueprints dry. We don't have a website or a sales team. If someone needs something made, they usually just walk through the big sliding doors and ask for us by name. It’s how we’ve always done things here, and we don't see that changing anytime soon. It's hard work, but it's what we know.
