Ashta Vinayak Engineers

We are set up at Chikhlee Plot No 6 B I Phase 1st Cross in the Industrial Estate off Mysore Road. It’s an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machines and trucks moving around outside. Ashta Vinayak Engineers is what we call ourselves. Our shop is full of tools, metal scraps, and the smell of oil. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s where we get the engineering work done. We spend most of our time at the lathes or welding things together. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but we have a few big fans that keep the air moving while we work. We’ve been in this plot for a few years and have gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work, so we often borrow a tool or help each other out with a heavy lift. We don't have a fancy front office for meetings. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us with grease on our hands out on the floor. We take our work seriously but we don't feel the need to use big words to describe it. It’s just about making things that work and fixing things that are broken. If you need something fabricated or repaired, we are usually around from dawn till dusk. We just keep our heads down and get it done.
