Pune Football Club is basically just us trying to keep the game going here in the city. We’re over at C1/ 32, Sarita Vaibhav, if you ever need to find the main office. It’s a busy place. We’ve been part of the Ashok Piramal Group for a while now. Mostly, we just focus on the kids and the matches. Football is a lot of work behind the scenes, honestly. People think it’s just players on a field, but there’s a lot of paperwork and planning. We spend our days dealing with schedules and making sure things are ready for the next game. It’s not always pretty. Sometimes the office is a mess with jerseys and gear everywhere. We just like the sport. Being in Pune is good because people here actually care about the local team. We don't have fancy speeches about what we do. We just show up, handle the logistics, and try to make sure the club keeps running. It’s a small team of us working out of Sarita Vaibhav. We know the neighbors. We know the local shops. It feels like a real community thing. If you walk by, you might hear us arguing about some play or another. That’s just how it goes when you live and breathe this stuff every day. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just want the football to be good for everyone involved. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights at the desk, but seeing a good match makes it feel alright.
