Arun Carbide Tools is situated in the Abasaheb Chinchwade Industrial Estate, specifically at Survey No. 17/4 on Walhekarwadei Road in Chinchwadgaon. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know it is a busy industrial hub with lots of noise and dust from all the workshops. We have been here for a long time, making and selling various carbide tools for local machining and fabrication work. The shop floor is where most of the action happens, and it usually smells like oil and cold metal. We don't have a fancy showroom or a bunch of salespeople in suits. It is just us in our work clothes, checking the measurements on the tools and making sure they are ready to go out. The office is just a small partitioned area in the corner where we keep the books and take orders. It gets pretty hot in the summer, and the fans don't do much more than move the warm air around, but we are used to it by now. We have a loyal group of customers from the surrounding factories who just drop in when they need something replaced or sharpened. There is no corporate mission here, just a focus on making sure the tools are right. We work hard, sometimes late into the evening if a big order needs to be finished. It is a straightforward, gritty business and that is exactly how we like it.
