We operate out of Bungalow No 810 in Sindh Colony, near the Aundh Nanded Phata. It is a bit of a different setup since we are in a residential-style building. Art On Silk is what we do here. The place has a bit of a homey feel to it because of the way it is built. We have different rooms for different parts of the work. It is not like those modern offices with glass walls. We have actual doors and windows that open to the garden. It can be a bit quiet in Sindh Colony, which we like because it lets us focus. Sometimes we work on the porch if the weather is nice. We have stuff everywhere—rolls of fabric, dyes, and various tools. It is not always the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We usually start our day with a bit of a chat before getting into the heavy work. We are not trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. If you come by, you will probably find us covered in some kind of work mess. We just enjoy the process and like being in this part of town. It is a comfortable place to work and we have been here long enough that it feels like home. We just keep doing our thing every day.
