Aqsa Tours & Travels

We’re up on the first floor of Kumar Place over in Ravet. Aqsa Tours & Travels is basically just a small office where we try to get people’s trips sorted out. It’s not a very big space, but it fits a few desks and some chairs for when people come in to talk. Ravet is growing fast, so we see a lot of new faces lately. Planning a trip can be a real pain with all the different sites and prices, so we just do the booking for people to save them the trouble. We spend a lot of time on the phone with airlines or checking bus routes. Sometimes the internet is slow and it takes a bit longer, but we get it done. We’ve been at this for a bit and we know how the local travel stuff works. It’s not a fancy job, but it’s nice when someone comes back and says they had a good time. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most people who come here are from the neighborhood or heard about us from a friend. We just try to be helpful and keep the records straight. If you're around Kumar Place 5, you'll see our sign. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start looking at the maps and schedules for the day. It is practical work for practical people.
