Anay Engineering Pvt Ltd is run out of a unit in the Kothrud area of Pune. We are located at 9/120 in the Navrang Apartment. It’s a bit different from your typical glass-and-steel office building because it’s an apartment complex. We actually like it this way. It feels more grounded and quiet. We do engineering work, so our tables are usually covered in large printed plans and technical drawings. There are a few computers that are always running some heavy software. It’s a small operation, just a handful of us who have been doing this for a while. We don't have any big signs or a flashy lobby. If you come to the door, you just knock and one of us will let you in. Kothrud is a nice place to work, even with the traffic getting worse every year. We’ve been in Navrang Apartment long enough that we know all the regulars. We don't really have a big sales pitch. People usually hear about us from other folks in the industry. We just focus on getting the calculations right and finishing our designs on time. We have a small corner where we make tea and keep some biscuits. It’s a simple, straightforward life. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just doing our jobs as engineers and making sure the projects we handle are solid. It’s a practical way to run a business.
