Anand Engineering Works. We’re over at 78F on the 6th Cross in Vadgoan. The area is called Gule Galli. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the lane, especially if a bigger vehicle is trying to get through. Our workshop is right there, and you can usually hear the sound of machines or metal work from the street. It’s a busy little spot. We’ve got oil stains on the floor and tools hanging all over the walls. It’s not a clean office; it’s a place where work actually gets done. The air usually smells a bit like grease and cut metal. We’ve been in Vadgoan for years, so we know all the other shop owners on the cross. We spend most of our time standing at the benches or checking the machines. It’s hard work and it gets hot in the summer, but we’re used to it. There’s a small bench outside where we sit for a few minutes when we need a breather. People bring us all sorts of engineering jobs, some small and some pretty big. We just take them as they come. The 6th Cross is a lively place with a lot of small businesses like ours.
