Amrutha Engineering

Our workshop, Amrutha Engineering, is tucked away at Plot No. 75 on Road No. 2 in Sector 1-S. If you know where the HP Gas Godown is in New Panvel, we are right behind it. It’s a decent spot for an engineering shop, though the road gets a bit dusty when the trucks go by. We’ve got a mix of old and new machines here that we use for various fabrication jobs. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the grinders are going, but that's the nature of the business. Most of the staff live nearby, so we’ve become a bit of a tight-knit group over the years. We handle a lot of different requests, some big and some just small repairs for locals. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big sales team. Usually, the owner is right there on the floor with everyone else, getting his hands dirty. We keep a logbook of what needs to be finished by Friday and we try to stick to it, though sometimes parts take longer to arrive than we'd like. The office is just a small room with a desk and some old files, as we spend most of our time out where the actual work happens. It’s a practical setup that works for us. We just focus on finishing the tasks we have in front of us every morning. Sometimes we stay late to finish a welding job if the client is in a real hurry to get their parts back.
