Amrut Engineering Works

Our workshop, Amrut Engineering Works, is located at Survey No. 14/1/2 in the Gujar-Nimbalkarwadi area. We are situated off the Katraj road, which is a bit away from the main city buzz of Pune. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s a quieter place to work. The area is a mix of small workshops and some open land. Our building is a basic structure with high ceilings and a lot of floor space for the lathes and other tools we use. The floor is concrete and usually has some metal shavings or oil patches on it from the day's work. We have a small office tucked into a corner where we keep the accounts and handle phone calls. Most of the guys here live nearby and have been with us for a long time. We have a routine where we start around nine and keep the machines running until late afternoon. We usually take a break under the shade of a tree outside when it’s time for tea. The air is a bit fresher here than it is in the city center. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t have any fancy signage or a big marketing team. People just know us through the work we do. At the end of the day, we clean up the tools, sweep the floor, and shut the doors. It’s honest work in a quiet corner of the district.
