Amrut Architects

Amrut Architects is tucked away in Katraj at No 82/2, Sawant Vihar. We are specifically in Phase 1, in Flat No.C-53. It’s a bit different than a typical office because we are based in a residential phase. This gives the place a very local, home-like feel. When you come by, you’re basically coming to a residential building, which makes the whole process feel less formal. We have our desks set up in the flat, and it’s where all the designing and planning happens. Katraj is a busy area, but Sawant Vihar is a bit more tucked back, so we get some peace to work on our architectural projects. There are always rolls of blueprints lying around and different samples of tiles or wood on the tables. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a working space where we spend a lot of time thinking about how to build things better. We know the neighbors, and we see the kids playing in the common areas of the phase. It’s a very grounded way to run an architecture firm. We don't have a big sign outside or a fancy entrance. People usually find us because someone told them about the work we did in the past. It’s just us in C-53, working through the day, taking tea breaks on the balcony, and making sure our drawings are accurate for whatever project is next.
