Amar Autolines

Amar Autolines has been sitting here in Akurdi Main Market 4 for quite a long time now. It’s a crowded area, usually full of people and scooter noise, but we like the energy. We mostly deal with auto parts and the various things people need for their vehicles when something breaks. The shelves are pretty packed from the floor to the ceiling. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to find exactly what you’re looking for because we carry so many different bits and pieces for different brands. It’s not a shiny showroom with bright lights. It’s just a place where you come when you need a specific part and you don’t want to wait for a delivery from somewhere else. My brother and I usually run the counter ourselves. We know many of the regulars by their first names. Akurdi is a good place to be, even if the parking situation is a bit of a nightmare on the busy market days. We open up the shutters early and stay until the sun goes down most days. There’s always someone stopping by to ask about a new battery, a spark plug, or a simple oil filter. We don't do much advertising at all; word of mouth in the market is enough to keep us going. If we don’t have something in stock, we usually know which neighbor does. It’s just a simple shop. No bells or whistles, just the stuff you need to keep your bike on the road.
