Amalgam Engineering

Amalgam Engineering is based at D- 12 Samarthnagar, S.No56/3 in Wadgaon Bk. This is right off Sinhagad Road in Pune. It is a busy area with a lot of residential buildings mixed in with small workshops. Our place is tucked away in a corner of Samarthnagar. It is not a massive factory. It’s more of a dedicated space where we handle engineering tasks. The traffic on Sinhagad Road can be a real headache during peak hours, so we try to time our movements around it. Inside our unit, things are a bit more controlled. We have our tools and our workbenches set up just how we like them. We have been here for several years now and we know the local shops where we can get a quick tea or a spare part if we run out. The team is just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We don't use much corporate talk here. We just discuss the drawings and figure out how to put things together. Sometimes a design doesn't work out on the first try and we have to sit down and rethink it. That’s just part of being in engineering. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just focus on the job at hand and try to stay out of the rain during the monsoon. It keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday.
