Altra Tech Engineering

We've been at Gate No 318 in Shindewadi for a while now. It's an industrial area, so there is always noise and movement around here. People know us as Altra Tech Engineering. We mainly handle technical jobs that come through the door. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it's quiet, but the machines keep humming. My desk is usually covered in papers and part diagrams. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably see some grease on the floor and tools everywhere. It’s just how we work. We fix things and make sure the engineering side of things doesn't fall apart for our clients. Shindewadi is a good spot for us because it's easy for trucks to get in and out. The gate is easy to find if you know where you’re looking. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years. We just get on with the job. There isn't much to say other than we show up, do the work, and go home. We deal with various mechanical parts and repairs. It's honest work. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We try to keep the shop organized, but when big projects are on, it gets a bit messy. That's life in engineering. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to stay busy and keep the lights on. It’s a small team.
