We are located over in Kothrud, which is one of the more established and older parts of Pune. Our office is actually in an apartment building called Avaneesh Apartments, specifically in unit C-104. It’s the 411029 area code. Working out of an apartment gives the whole place a very different feel than a standard commercial building you might find downtown. It’s a bit more relaxed and quiet, I guess. Almana Design Consultants International might sound like a very big name, but we are just a group of regular people working together in a normal room. We’ve got our computers and drawing boards set up where the living room probably used to be. It’s a practical way to run things without all the extra corporate overhead. Kothrud is a nice area with a lot of old trees and local shops, so it’s easy to grab a quick lunch nearby. We don't really do the whole corporate polish or professional branding thing. Our desks are usually covered in sketches and empty tea cups by the time the evening rolls around. It’s just the way we work. Some days are much quieter than others, but there’s always something that needs to be finished up. We don't have any fancy brochures about how great we are. We just focus on the design work that comes our way and try to do it right. It’s just our daily spot for getting things done.
