Adico Forge Pvt Ltd is located in Sanaswadi, right by the Sklajee Market at number 1088. If you’ve ever been near a forge, you know it’s a hot and loud place to work. We spend our shift around the furnaces and the heavy hammers. It’s tough physical work, and you definitely work up a sweat before the morning is even over. We make forged parts that need to be strong, so there’s no room for cutting corners. We take the raw metal, heat it up until it’s glowing, and then shape it. It takes a lot of coordination between the guys on the floor to make sure everything goes right. The Sanaswadi area has become a big center for this kind of work, so we are surrounded by other industries. Our building is a large shed that lets in some breeze, which is needed when the furnaces are going full blast. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations; it’s just a place for hard work. We check our equipment every day because safety is a big deal when you’re working with such high temperatures. The paperwork is handled in a small room at the front, but most of us are out back where the actual forging happens. It’s a simple life of making parts and making sure they meet the specs we were given. It’s not for everyone, but we’ve been at it for a long time now and we know what we’re doing out on the shop floor.
