Academic Heights Public School

Our school is located over in Chikhali at Gat No 1660/2. If you know this part of Pune, you know it has been growing quite a bit lately and we are right in the middle of all that development. The building isn't anything fancy, just a solid, practical place where the students come to study every day. We spend our mornings getting everything ready before the buses and parents arrive. It gets pretty lively once the bells ring. We have got different classrooms for the various grades and we try to keep the grounds tidy, though with so many kids around, there is always a bit of dust. Life here revolves around the academic calendar. We have our term dates, our sports days, and the usual holiday breaks. The staff here mostly lives around the Pimpri-Chinchwad area, so we are part of the local community ourselves. We don't spend much time on flashy stuff; we just focus on the lessons and making sure the kids are where they are supposed to be. Sometimes the weather in Pune makes the playground a bit muddy during the monsoon, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We have been at this location for some time now and most of the neighbors know who we are. It is just a regular school day, every day, trying to help the students get through their books and pass their tests without too much fuss or unnecessary drama.
