The office is located over at C 4/5 on Bhandarkar Road, right where it meets Chandivali Road in Sakinaka. It’s easy to spot because we are right next to Kamla Nehru Park, which is a good landmark for people who get lost trying to find us. Sakinaka traffic is something else, so we spend a lot of our time listening to the buses and rickshaws outside while we are on the phone. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a few old computers, and stacks of papers that never seem to go away. We spend the day looking at routes and trying to figure out train timings or flight schedules for people who want to go somewhere else for a change. It’s funny how everyone wants to be somewhere different than where they are. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years now. The walls have some old posters of places most of us haven’t actually visited yet. Lunch usually happens at our desks because the phones don't really stop ringing long enough for us all to go out at once. Sometimes people just walk in to ask for directions to the park, and we help them out with that too. It’s a straightforward job, mostly just making sure the dates line up and the tickets are actually printed right. Nothing too complicated, just daily work in a busy corner of the city.
