Aamdar Chaha Private Limited

Our company, Aamdar Chaha Private Limited, is situated at House Number 564 in the Babhulsarkhurd area of Koregaon Shirur. We’re quite far from the noise of the big city, which is exactly how we like it. The village atmosphere is peaceful, though it gets a bit muddy when the monsoon hits. Our main focus is tea. We spend a lot of our time tasting different leaves and trying to get the blend just right for our customers. The house serves as our headquarters and our packing center. It’s not a fancy building with glass windows. It’s a sturdy local house where we can store our supplies and keep everything dry. We have a small crew of people from the village who help us out. Most of our day is spent handling large sacks of tea and getting them into the smaller packets for sale. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we find it satisfying. We don’t have a corporate office or a board of directors. It’s just us talking over a cup of tea about what we need to do next. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for it to come back before we can use the sealing machine. We don't mind the slower pace of life here. It gives us time to focus on what we’re doing. We’re just a local tea business trying to make a living in the village.
